I remember the first time someone asked me to look at GS Partners. It was about a year ago, I was busy, did a quick Google and didn't find much except the GSPartners.global website. I had no idea what it was and didn't give it much thought. Again, towards the end of 2022 someone emailed me about it and again I had a quick look but didn't dive any deeper.
Roll on 2023 and three people have now messaged me about this opportunity, so I looked more closely. Or at least, I asked for some further information because the GSPartners website was still the same; some weird “Swiss banking” landing page with generic-sounding information and a link to a referral scheme with zero information.
TLDNR;
I don't ever like to use the word “scam” as it sounds so severe (and I might be wrong), but this is yet another “MLM-style” passive income opportunity that does not sit right with me.
What is GS Partners?
We'll going by their website, GSPartners.global, they are some sort of Swiss banking / financial instrument. There isn't much information, everything is rather vague and there is only a half-mention of any “passive income” earning opportunity, which appeared to be from referrals.
You can see why I was confused.
And the “Earn With Us” didn't provide any information how you earn…
It turns out, you need to be invited to a presentation for more details on how to earn money with GS Partners…
GS Partners passive income presentation
I'm not going to waste time writing too much about this as it's fairly evident from a few screenshots that there is far too much going on for nothing to be presented on their live public website, and much of it appears to be to “offer choice” (ie cause some confusion) and make it feel like some real product(s) are behind the scenes. Anyone remember Hyperfund? That was something that I got caught up in that (I believe) turned out to be a fraudulent ponzi MLM scheme.
This smells like something similar. As did CashFX (turned out to be a scam) and NovaTech FX (which I looked into quite closely and still believe is not above board, even though I know people are still earning and promoting).
Overall, my spidey senses to through the roof if I see something that focuses more on MLM-style marketing than anything else. Which this does. To be clear; I'm not against referral or MLM marketing at all, actually it's a great way of doing things if done right and for the right reasons! More on that another time. Meanwhile…
The first warning sign…
Any company that uses the word “Swiss” so many times should be questioned! Even moreso if they have a “Swiss Economist” 😉
Let's get serious.
Multiple slides on rather confusing and vague descriptions of how GS Partners make money. No real substance or evidence presented.
Lots of ways for YOU to make money (note that these income sources are ALL referral and MLM!)
Oh, and you have to pay to be a member #surprisesurprise
They cover referrals, commissions and how much you can learn a little in the first presentation…
However, they don't dive too deep…
You need to go to other presentations for the meat of how to really make big bucks…
MLM and how you can make money
Hmmm, so there's more to it than just $33 per month…
Wow!
These are just a few of the slides. All the MLM guff makes me 🥱😴🥱 (when it seems there is now credible product of value to market).
And there was so much more MLM bonus stuff available.
That's enough of that…
Ready to join? 🤔😆
And remember folks, don't forget to refer your friends!
Good luck to you if you decide join this one.
I won't be!
