I’ve wanted to share Xeta for some time as it’s a passive income opportunity that blends DeFi with traditional finance and wealth management, priding itself on transparency. The reason I haven’t shared to date is because I have not yet invested myself and am not familiar enough with their offering.
However, I feel it is something you should be aware of if you are researching opportunities.
Why did I not invest?
Xeta came along at a bad time for me, shortly after StrongBlock let us all down and I had a few other opportunities on the go. It also used a ‘node’-like model, and with all that happened with ‘nodes’ in the recent past, it made it difficult for me to digest; I was reading the words, but my brain refused to compute the information!
However, I did join the Discord and every now and then I check in as I’m still interested in how things are going and possibly getting involved in the future.
What I like about Xeta
The three main things I like about Xeta are;
- The connections with offline/traditional financial structures and instruments.
- A focus on transparency.
- Responsibility towards social good.
Too many times in this past year or so we have been screwed over by people; I don’t believe Xeta will do that.
And too many times we’ve had ponzi-esq ‘DeFi’ that have come to nothing; I like it that Xeta’s value proposition is around modernising existing wealth management solutions.
The third thing is an awareness of social responsibility and giving back; Xeta included a charitable aspect from the beginning.
How Xeta Capital works
I’m not going to go into this too much because as I have already said, I have not yet invested and my brain keeps shutting off when I read the whitepaper.
However, very briefly you buy tokens ($XETA) and use 10 to create a XON which then generates rewards. XONs do expire and there are other elements to consider such as expiration and fees.
Yes; if you ever got involved in ‘nodes’ you can see the similarity and why my brain just refuses take it in. 🧠🧐
The benefit is that, depending on your holdings, Xeta Capital can give you access to tradefi financial instruments that are only usually available to exceptionally wealthy individuals.
Summary
Yes, this is a very short article with very limited information. However, it is something in the space that is worth looking into if you are on the search for residual income opportunities or access to high-end tradefi.
Check out their website and read over the whitepaper to find our more. If you like what you see, join the Discord for updates.
